Born and raised in Edmonton, Wendy is the proud mother of 2 teenaged daughters. After starting her career in the health care industry as a Health Care Aid in 1986, she went on to complete the LPN program in 1996.
Having extensive experience as an LPN, including 3 years working in an Alzheimer’s unit, Wendy has gained a broad understanding of the care requirements and emotional needs of seniors and their caregivers.
Being responsible for the care of her own elderly parents, one of whom became a paraplegic following a biking accident 5 years ago, has also enabled Wendy to better understand the stress and worry that families may be experiencing when reaching out to find home care for their loved ones.
Wendy is passionate about the need to educate both clients and caregivers to empower them to become their own best advocate.
